In order to help non tech users to use PMM, a web ui that helps to generate yaml files could be nice.

I believe this is a planned feature, but it hasn't been formally requested. The ability to apply operations and overlays to items added in the last day (for example) so that incremental overlay/operations can be applied rather than having to update each item on each run. I believe there are also plans to split operations (and potentially overlays) to make them apply in batches. For example: Monday: Apply operations/overlays to items starting A-G Tuesday: Apply operations/overlays to items starting H-M Wednesday: Apply operations/overlays to items starting N-S Thursday: Apply operations/overlays to items starting T-Z

I'd like if I could run PMM with some command and have it check through the assets folder and list what assets aren't in use.

if we could get this feature, it would allow us to use the background picture of a item to "write" badges and technical info on there, especially with how the plex android tv app displays them it would be fantastic, then we could have nice logos like atmos, dv and such on there and they would be near the area where plex itself displays "4K" and "5.1 AC3" but of course lacks much more detailed info compared to what we can do with PMM etc.

The ability to manage how much info the log files generate, would be an amazing feature. The question was asked on discord if this should be a PMM feature or something that PBF would handle. To me, it makes more sense if PMM handles its own business. :)

I have stumbled upon a GitHub page of a plex employee where he has created a bunch of plex scripts, which improve the plex experience. One of his script has an option to merge multiple episodes into one in plex even after following the plex mutli episode naming patter. Here are links to refer to Git of the plex employee The Multi Episode Code which this feature is referring to Here’s an example using the Sponge Bob Collection. Usually, the case S02E01-E02 ——> This in plex will result in two separate episodes but plex will not separate the video files as will also not mark the episodes as watch for both the episodes even though there in the first episode in plex where you have watched both the episodes, plex will not mark the second episode in their watch history as marked. using the script from the link above will result in S02E01-E02 ——> This will result in plex combining the two separated episodes into one including the naming of each episodes by append with a “/“ in between. And watching a single file will result in plex marking as both the episodes as watched. Original Github Request

Currently there is no way to easily sync manually created playlists, that are not managed by PMM, between different users. Ideally there would be the possibility to 1: sync all playlists from the admin to specific or all users 2: sync a list of specific playlists from the admin to specific or all users 3: sync all playlists from a specific non-admin user to specific or all users, including the admin 4: sync specific playlists from a specific non-admin user to specific or all users, including the admin 5: sync all playlists between all users
